前三季度，第一、二、三产业新设民营企业分别为16.5万户、82.5万户、520.1万户，第三产业占比超过八成。伴随全国统一大市场建设，绿色低碳行业的转型提速，工业运行呈现积极亮点，“电力、热力、燃气及水生产和供应业”新设民营企业增速达到9.9%。民生保障方面发展势头良好，“教育”“卫生和社会工作”新设民营企业增速均达到6.2%。

新质生产力成为民营企业发展新亮点。前三季度，新设“四新经济”民营企业271.8万户，占同期新设民营企业总量的四成，其中“新型能源活动”企业同比增长最快。截至2024年9月底，中国“四新经济”(新技术、新产业、新业态、新模式)民营企业达到2181.6万户；新设“数字经济”民营企业81.5万户，占到新设民营企业总量的13.2%，其中“数字产品服务业”增速最快，达到7.8%。
